ANGELA MARTINOVICH has directed the practice as the Principal Clinical
& Forensic Psychologist since the practice opened
in Fremantle 2004, then grew to include Rockingham in 2009 and Dunsborough in
2014. Angela has worked in social service fields in the UK and Australia since
1995. She has studied clinical and forensic psychology
and worked as a senior clinician in the WA public sector between 2001 and 2019
alongside her private practice work. Angela works mainly with adults,
individually and in couples, treating most major mental health conditions
and personality disorders and has a special interest in attachment and
trauma disorders. In recent times Angela has complimented her long
standing clinical tools with the addition of EMDR and hypnotherapy training.
In addition to her clinical work Angela conducts forensic assessments in a range
of legal contexts and provides
consultancy and training to state and federal government departments. Angela is
available at Fremantle, Rockingham and Dunsborough (and interstate upon request). She is also available to provide services via telehealth.
PAGAN EBSARY is
a Psychologist. Pagan joined the practice in 2010 and in addition to her longstanding MPS role she has
also worked within the employment services field, with experience in providing EAP
services and counselling to job seekers with complex barriers to employment.
She has also worked in the Injury Management field, providing vocational
rehabilitation services and EAP within the WA Workers Compensation sector,
Australian Defence Force and Department of Veterans Affairs. Pagan has an
interest in women’s wellbeing and mental health and, in particular, the perinatal period. She is registered to provide
pregnancy support counselling under Medicare. Pagan
uses cognitive behavioural and mindfulness based interventions with a strong
focus on a person centred approach. Pagan conducts
assessments in Fremantle, Rockingham and Dunsborough and is available for
therapeutic services weekly in Dunsborough. She is also available to provide services via telehealth.
AMY MCALPINE is a Clinical & Forensic Psychologist. Amy
has previously worked in private practice, Alcohol and Other Drug treatment
settings and correctional settings prior to commencing with MPS in 2016. Amy
has experience working with older
children, adolescents, and adults of all ages with behavioural, mental health,
and interpersonal issues. She
also sees couples for relationship concerns. She uses behavioural,
cognitive behavioural, mindfulness based and trauma focused interventions, including EMDR,
with a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship.
Amy is also experienced in providing forensic psychological reports for West
Australian courts. Amy is available in Fremantle and Rockingham, and via telehealth.
MAHI WEISS is a Clinical Psychologist. Mahi
joined the practice in late 2018 and had previous extensive experience working
in correctional settings (since 2010).
Mahi’s previous experience has predominantly been with children,
adolescents and young adults, addressing behavioural, mental health and interpersonal
issues. Mahi also has clinical
experience working with adults with mental health issues. She uses behavioural, cognitive behavioural
and mindfulness based interventions in a person-centred and strength-based
has an interest in trauma and is able to deliver EMDR treatment. She further has
an interest in treatment of Alcohol and other Drug use. Mahi is also experienced in
providing forensic psychological reports for West Australian courts. Mahi is
available in person at Fremantle and Rockingham, and via telehealth.
TEESHA BAINES is a Psychologist (M Psych Org), and joined the practice in 2012. Since completing her
Master's degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Teesha has gained
practical experience in many areas including assessment for
selection/development, recruitment, culture, wellbeing, diversity, organisational development, change management, and training. Teesha is available to provide resume reviews, career transition support, and coaching. She is most passionate about improving wellbeing and diversity in the workplace. Teesha also works therapeutically with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and work related issues. Teesha utilises cognitive behavioural and mindfulness based interventions, and her warm and collaborative approach allows her to build successful therapeutic relationships with adults and adolescents from a diverse range of backgrounds. Teesha is available at Fremantle, Rockingham, can travel to corporate clients where necessary, and can provide services via telehealth.
